March 30, 2025 Lauren says, “Garnet. Aroma of black cherry, plum, violet, and licorice. Medium to full body. High acidity and high tannin. Grippy with flavor of blackberries and purple flowers. Pretty heavy but still easy to drink. The finish is pretty ethanol. It would shine with a red sauce, steak or ribs. 7/10.  Zach says, “  Deep brick/dusty red in the glass. Unmistakable oaky on opening. I think it would likely be best to wait one to two hours before drinking after opening the bottle. Nose - spiced cherries, raspberry, leather.   Full bodied. High acidity. Long finish. High tannin. This is a big, rustic Italian  wine. While I think it is a value, it’s not a style I typically gravitate towards, because it is oaky and generally just a bigger wine than I typically drink. Long, tart raspberry finish. 7/10.”
