December 28, 2017
Cakebread Cellars Chardonnay, 2015.
Purchased for $36.99 at Green Turtle in Melbourne, FL.
Hanging out in the hot tub.
Lauren says, "Aroma of honey and oak. Taste is floral with hints of lavender and rose blossoms. Very smooth with a crisp, long ending of oak. Slightly drier with a more oaky ending than the previous Chard. Also less acidic overall with slightly more citrus and floral notes. 8/10. After breathing some, becomes much more buttery and an 8.5/10."
Zach says, "Nose is not super fragrant. Mild floral notes – not much else is perceivable. Smell is still clean and crisp. Taste and mouthfeel are delightful with delicious acidity and a long finish! Taste: 9/10. Nose: 6/10. Overall: 7.5."
Stacy says, "Very floral scent. Light wheat shade. Smooth but a lil green. 8/10."
Scott says, "Noice. 9/10."
