Jean Bouchard Chablis
May 2, 2017
Jean Bouchard Chablis, 2014.
Purchased at Publix for an unknown price.
We drink this wine with scallops, angel hair pasta, and an appetizer of caprese on bread with fresh garlic olive oil from a local shop in Melbourne, FL.
Lauren says, “Sharp taste at first that transfers into a smooth and buttery wine with a strange complexity that changes as it warms. 10/10.”
Zach says, “The minerality of a fine Sancerre, the warmth and butter of an oaked Chard, and the consistency of pinot gris dances unpredictable around your mouth. As it warmed from the fridge it become more approachable and delicious. Effortlessly smooth and uniquely fickle. 9.5/10.”
