Chateau de la Huste Bordeaux
November 7, 2017
Chateau de la Huste Bordeaux, 2015.
Purchased for $20.00 at Total Wine.
Zach says, "A wine that can only be described with the word austere: no smell, very little taste, and nothing to bring enjoyment. Very faint nose of dust and mild red fruit. Taste is dry, bitter, and unpleasant. Aftertaste is miserable. Tastes like fermented bones of a French dog long forgotten. 1/10."
Lauren says, "Rich and deep aroma of plum, smoke, and oak. Taste is overwhelmingly dry with a very bitter aftertaste. Nothing pleasant. Maybe a tinge of blackberry buried beneath a desert. 2/10. Probably can’t finish a glass."
