Meiomi Pinot Noir
September 16, 2017
Meiomi Pinot Noir, 2015.
Purchased at Costco for $16.99.
Enjoyed after a long day of shopping and packing.
Lauren says, "Fruity and pleasant nose of blackberry, cherry, and a hint of blueberry. Very smooth and acidic; easy to drink. Nice minerality and sweetness. Slightly tart finish with a hint of mild tannins and oak. Very balanced. 8/10."
Zach says, "Nose is sweet, simple, and inviting- notes of cherry and oak are appreciable. The wine is extremely smooth and subtle on the tongue. Very little tannin and strong acidity makes this wine appropriate for all occasions. The nose and the taste may be slightly incongruent but are both enjoyable in their own way. 7.6/10."
