True Grit Red Blend
November 7, 2017
True Grit Red Blend, 2013.
Purchased BOGO at Publix. Two for $20
Lauren says, "Aroma closely resembles baby wipes with a hint of deep cherry. Taste is simple and smooth with slight tannins. Flavors of cola, oak, and blackberry. Not very complex. Pleasant aftertaste that is warming to the tongue but still slightly too bitter for me overall. 5/10."
Zach says, "Nose is gamey, herbaceous, and berry-like. Taste starts out sweet and simplistic, but transforms into an artificially sweet and metallic taste. After taste is simple and approachable. Nothing memorable about this wine. 6/10."
