February 16, 2018

Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais, 2016.
Purchased for $14.99 at Mazarro's.
Enjoyed with delicious risotto made by Phoebe.

Zach K. says, "“What I find really lovely about this wine is its suppleness. Very pliable and amendable to various culinary excursions. It's nose is fragrant and floral with notes of lavender, acetone, and cherry licorice. Taste is even acidic and round. Great for a meal. Not complex, but very nice overall. 7.5/10."
Zach S. says, "It's a smooth voluptuous red that stimulates a strawberry-esque aroma providing a pleasant aftertaste. 7/10."
Phoebe says, "Okay so I’m feeling a chlorine scent with a violet, sharp birch flavor. I would give it a 7/10."
Lauren says, "Color of red rubies. Aroma of cedar, vanilla, and alcohol. Smooth and light texture. Flavors of licorice and cigar smoke. Overwhelming tart fig taste. Good with a meal. 7/10."
