Lauren says, “Rusty red in color. Gamey aroma mixed with the scent of cigars, wet slate and dried berries. Medium bodied. Mild tannins. Moderate acidity. Flavors of tart raspberry and soil. A very tart ending but otherwise smooth texture. Relatively complex. I think this is a Spanish wine. I think it would pair nicely with most savory meals. It is getting better as I drink it so may need some more decanting. At the moment it is a 7.5/10.”

Zach says, “Z- Ruby red in color. This is the best wine we have had in some time. Nose of cocoa powder, earth, and red fruit. Medium to full bodied. Mouthfeel is smooth. Well balanced fruity acidity and mild tannin. Finish is lasting and mouthwatering. This taste like a California Pino, but mouthfeel points to California cab or blend. I would serve at around 55-60 degrees. Would go well with cheddar. 7.5/10”

*** NOTE: this pairs very well with Trader Joe's Coastal English Cheddar Cheese
