Tenshen Red Blend

Tenshen Red Blend, 2015.
Purchased for $20.99 at Costco.
Lauren says, “Dark garnet-plum shade. Aroma of vanilla and red cherry. Medium-bodied. Required 1-2 hours of decanting. Mild red fruit flavors with some tannins. Pleasant for a drier red. Vanilla flavor takes it from a 6/10 to a 7/10. Not worth 20 dollars for me personally.”
Zach says, “Purple and crimson red in color. Nose of flint and raspberry. Medium-bodied mouthfeel. Taste is dominated by rich tannin and unlovable bitterness. I wish there was more acidity and fruitiness to balance with the abundance of tannin. Tannic aftertaste is long, but underwhelming. 6/10.”
