Lauren says, “Deep ruby-garnet color. Aroma of vanilla, cedar, figs, and blackberry jam. Pleasant and complex. Medium bodied. Flavors of black licorice and, on the end, candied cherries. Nice balance of tannins and acidity. Dry ending. Enjoying it way more than I thought I would. 8.5/10. ”

Zach says, “Color is deep and sanguineous. Nose is evocative with notes of pencil lead, tobacco, and slate. Full-bodied. Balanced. The first great wine I have had in a while. Acidity is plentiful. Tannins flare at exactly the right moment to balance mild bitterness. Each taste begs for revaluation. 8.5/10”
