Poet's Leap Riesling

Lauren says, “ Color is a light, creamed butter yellow. I smell a strong, sweet aroma of apricot, white peaches, and rich butterscotch. This wine has a nice acidity. Tastes of sweet honey and orange blossoms followed by a sour, green apple finish. Complex wine. I like it a lot. Very refreshing and interesting. 9/10.”

Zach says, "My first experience with a fine Riesling. Recommended by “The Wine Bible.” Color is light-yellow. Nose is intoxicating, pleasant, complex, and seductive. Notes of fresh rubber, green apple, and pineapple. Nose is overwhelmingly inorganic, but still pleasant like the scent of gasoline. Mouthfeel is smooth and light at the start. Long, honey-like finish that leaves the mouth satisfied for minutes or more after each sip. I think this wine would go beautifully with savory chicken dishes or soy based recipes. This wouldn’t be an everyday thing, but definitely opens the door for further Riesling exploration. 7.5/10 "
