Siduri Pinot Noir

Siduri Pinot Noir, 2016.

Lauren says, “Red plum color. Aroma of oak, herbs, and cherry. Acidic and medium bodied. Flavor of cherry cola. Simple and plain throughout. Nothing incredible but also nothing a family would argue over at dinner. Not worth the price for me and something about the finish is strange. Prefer Buena vista over this. 6.5/10.”

Zach says, “The color is light-garnet and takes on an almost etherial nature that is characteristic of Pinot Noir. The wine’s nose is jubilant and effervescent. Notes are definitely those of red fruits like cherry and raspberry with slight hints of forest floor and wet moss. The nose is enchanting. Unfortunately, however, the rest of my experience was mediocre. The wine is thin, taking on an almost watery texture. Taste is acidic and mild, with light tannin. Unfortunately, this wine lacks character. The smell is inviting and rich like a warm hearth, but the drinking experience is incongruent and less than ideal. I will not remember this wine. 6.5/10”
