Tattinger Brut Millesime Champagne

Tattinger Brut Millesime Champagne, 2005.
Zach says, “In celebration of a new PA-C and a 2/5 CRNA we popped this delicious champagne. At first glance, the champagne is golden in color with organized and rigorous effervescence. Nose is crisp and fresh like freshly cut fruit. Notes of fresh pear, mild yeast, and light caramel. Taste is complex and lovely. The wine coats your mouth like honey and develops into a lovely apple-honey finish that lasts nearly a minute. As for a champagne, this is a true tore de force. 8.5/10”

Lauren says, “Golden yellow color. Aroma of yeast and buttered almonds. Amazing bubbles! They are small and fizzy and keep coming. Tastes very special and exciting. Nice acidity. Sharp flavors of citrus with a finish that is tangy but creamy at the same time. Leaves a sour but sweet taste in my mouth reminiscent of creamed orange blossom honey. Something about the finish and the way the roof of my mouth feels tells me this has been aged and properly stored. 9/10"
