Zach says, “First, thank you Scott and Stacy for lugging this bottle back from France for us. Character is very similar to a fine California Pino noir. This wine is pinkish-red in color. Nose is fresh and fragrant. Notes of anise seed and red cherry cordial. Very smooth mouthfeel. Light-bodied. Medium tannin is in harmony with vibrant acidity. The tannin is higher than California’s Joseph Swan Pino Noir, but other characteristics are very similar. Tannic and fruity finish is medium length (~30 seconds). Do not eat with fish (as we did). 8/10”

Lauren says, “Dark garnet color. Scent of vanilla and red berries. Medium bodied. Decent tannins balanced with mild acidity. Pleasant earthy wet-stone flavor with blackberry and cherry undertones. Slight oak. A very nice wine. Accommodating to all red wine lovers. A tannic aftertaste that lingers the right amount of time. 8/10.
