Zach says, ”Another bottle recommended in Andrea Immer’s Great Wine Made Simple.
Color is pale yellow. The nose is not ideal. While there are strong notes of mango, oak(?), and passion fruit, there is something unmistakably unpleasant that reminds me of overripe fruit. In a lot of ways, this wine smells like a chardonnay. Highly acidic, but less refined and delicate than Cloudy Bay. Finish is sweet, long and reminiscent of medjool dates. Overall, I would not recommend this wine. Its various attributes are inconsistent and less than ideal. 6/10”

Lauren says, “Very light yellow color. My biggest complaint is the smell- it is mildly off-putting. Scent of rancid butter and melons.  Light bodied, sharp,  and acidic. Mediocre, but decent for the price. Flavors of white peach and sour lemon. Maybe some oak. 6/10. Hard to get past the strange scent. The aftertaste is less pleasant than the cloudy bay we had earlier.”
