Zach says, “We are trying to expand our knowledge of sparkling, non-champagne region wines. Evidently, the region where this Prosecco is grown is known to be one of the best for the varietal. There were limited options at our local wine store, but we thought we would give it a go. 

Color is a faint, transparent yellow. Effervescence is controlled with medium sized bubbles. Nose is not very expressive, but there are notes of pear, green apple, and passion fruit (?). Highly acidic and sharp on the palate. Refreshing but not very complex. Perhaps a bit too tart for me. Finish is long and sour like a green apple. 7.5/10”

Lauren says, “Creamy yellow color. Mildly yeasty aroma. Very acidic and sharp. Dry. Light bodied. Decent amount of tiny effervescence. Flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and passion fruit . Overall sour taste but I like it. 7/10”
