Lauren says, “Golden yellow color, similar to my pee when I’m dehydrated. Aroma of a nasty chard. Burnt butter and bad milk aroma with a hint of cut grass. Medium bodied. Tastes like water at first. Boring. Then an okay acidic ending flavored with yeast, oak, honey, and butterscotch. Ending lingers. Not my favorite for sure. Also not sure if I just hate chard, which is possible? Torn between a 4/10 or 3/10, so let’s call it a 3.5.”
Zach says, “Purchased on discount from Total Wine for $9.99.
Golden yellow in color. Nose is relatively unexpressive. Notes of warm vanilla, shortbread, and green apple. Full-bodied mouthfeel. Highly tart and acidic. Flavor is off to me. The taste of this wine is absolutely bizarre. At first, there is absolutely nothing — truly water like in texture and taste. Then, as the wine warms within my mouth, I get notes of rich (to a fault) butteriness and unbalanced, overwhelming acidity. The finish is highly oaky, but relatively smooth. This leaves me feeling slightly odd and not particularly happy. 4/10”
