Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon

Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017.
Lauren says, “Garnet red color. Aroma of ethanol, cherries, and smoked wood. Reminiscent of booze soaked cherries. Smooth texture. Flavor of licorice, vanilla, and slight red fruit. Definitely a tannic ending, but it isn’t unpleasant. I like it. A solid cab. 8/10.”
Zach says, “This wine is ruby red with a salmon pink ring at the edge of the glass. Nose is fruity and fresh. Notes of cherry, candied blueberry, and Spanish moss. Very acidic. Highly Tannic. Finish is sharp, but mildly bitter. Overall, I really enjoy the grippy tannins and fruit forward nose. 8/10”
