Zach says, “This wine is superb and unique. The best glass of wine I have had in some time. I am absolutely shocked this wine is french — it’s powerful, edgy, vivacious, and fruit forward. It knows what it wants. This wine is wrought with power, weight, and significance. Beautiful structure and power provides poise and an almost animalistic potency. There are notes of boysenberry/currents, wet stone, hearth, and lavender. Absolutely spectacular acidity with balanced, full-throttle tannin. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Long lasting, beautiful finish. Peak sipping wine. 9.5/10.”

Lauren says, “Red plum color. Very fragrant. Aroma of cedar, cassis, and fresh hay. The vanilla essence almost burns your nostrils. A very complicated nose. Flavor of black licorice, plum, spices, black pepper, and maybe even a kick of cayenne with clove. Moderate tannins and heavy acidity. Medium bodied. One of the most unique wines I have tasted. Reminds me of a rioja blended with zin. The ending has a seriously spicy kick (and that’s the only way I can describe it). In one sentence: A complex, spicy wine. Highly recommend and a great value. I have never had a wine like this. 9/10.”
