Lauren says, “Dark garnet color. Aroma of red cherries, blackberries, vanilla, and dark chocolate. Strong tannins. Medium bodied. Flavor of cherry cola, dust, and earthy moss throughout. A decent red. Needed an hour or so to open up. A complex and every changing bottle. 7/10 that become an 8/10 with time.”
Zach says, “Garnet, almost rust colored in the glass. The nose is deep and complex. Over time, the bouquet evolves: there is lively lavender, stewed currants, mint, and earth. Full bodied mouthfeel. Remarkable, balanced acidity and moderately tannic. The finish is rich with dark fruit and vanilla and persists remarkably. Overall, I think it’s a wine that offers a beautifully orchestrated and complex drinking experience, but I would not say it’s my favorite. 8/10.”
