Zach says, “Cherry red and thick in the glass. The nose is sophisticated, rich, and complex. At first, I was hit by notes of cassis, graphite, and anise, but over time this developed into a heady bouquet of black cherry, subtle oak, and mocha. Full bodied mouthfeel. Marvelous acidity and euphoric, grippy tannin that really enhances and balances things out. Vibrant vanilla, cherry, and tannin linger for nearly a minute on the finish. Overall, a very precise, consistent, and enjoyable drinking experience. 9.3/10."

Lauren says, “Aroma of earth, oak, black cherry, and cassis. Medium bodied. Strong acidity and decent tannins. This, at first, tasted very gamey and meaty with licorice undertones. With aeration, I now taste some chocolate and blackberry. High alcohol content as well. Very unique and complex. It’s good! Something about the finish holds it back slightly. Maybe a little too long/grippy on the tongue.  8.7/10."
