Zach says, “Drinking to celebrate Lauren’s graduation! Cheers!
We went back and forth between Veuve, Tattinger, and Pol Roger — you can see our ultimate selection. The wine is straw-gold in color. The nose is very fresh. There are notes of brioche french toast, green apple, and apricots. Beautiful, explosive effervescence, but perhaps slightly less refined than others in this regard. Really delightful acidity and balance. Like cream in the mouth. Finish is lovely, smooth, and fruity. 9/10”
Lauren says, “Straw yellow in the glass. Small to medium bubbles that continue to trail upward. Aroma of citrus, pear and apricot. Very refreshing with good acidity. Great finish with nice minerality. Flavor of lemon, slight peach/melon and a hint of yeast. A very good champagne. On par with other famous bottles in this price range. 9/10. No complaints.”
