Wine Cube Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine Cube Cabernet Sauvignon.
A gift from Mikayla for the blog! Thank you! We have been wanting to review some box wines.

Zach says, “In our first ever boxed wine review (thanks, Mikayla for keeping us grounded), we sampled Wine Cube’s Cab. The color is ruby red. The nose is confusing and unfortunate. Notes of bathroom musk/urinal cake and cherry cola. Very artificial taste. Medium bodied. Overly sweet and unbalanced. A flat and off-fruity finish. I really don’t want to take another sip, but I might just to solidify this atrocity in my mind for future reference. 2/10.

Lauren says, “Red plum color. When I first tasted this blind (thanks to Zach, haha) I said ‘This doesn’t even taste like wine!’ Aroma of sweet currants.. Too sweet.. Medium bodied.. I guess.. Very acidic and metallic. Lingering nickel aftertaste. Basically just like sucking on a penny. 2.5/10.. almost a 2 if I had to keep drinking it.”
