Justin "Isosceles" Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017
Lauren says, “Rusty, ruby red color. Very fragrant aroma of red cherries, vanilla and eucalyptus with a hint of tobacco/leather. Full bodied. Balanced tannins and acidity. Flavor of deep chocolate/cocoa and sour blackberries. Underlying black pepper and licorice. Leaves your mouth DRY and feels like it has a high alcohol percentage. Very smooth and heavy/rich. Definitely good to pair with steak or red meat. I like it a lot but keep in mind that it is a very rich red. Not light on the palate at all. 9/10.”
Zach says, “Rusty, strawberry red in the glass. Nose is very potent and fresh. Notes of candied cherry, anise, and subtle/balanced oak. The dominant theme is powerful red fruit here. Full bodied with delicate tannins that provide delightful structure. Absolutely smooth and enjoyable till the conclusion of its long, cherry-vanilla finish. 9.5/10.”
