Trefethen Merlot, 2018 at Hillstone in Orlando, FL

Lauren says, “Ruby red in the glass. Aroma of mushrooms and a hint of blackberry. Medium bodied. Deep tannins and mild acidity. A nice balance. I like it a lot. Flavors of tart cherry and black fruit with a note of chocolate. 9/10.”

Zach says, “Garnet in the glass. Notes of cherry, mocha, and earth/moss. Medium to full bodied. Quite tannic, which I enjoy a lot. Nice red fruity acidity that provides clarity and balance. Finish is long lasting.  8.5/10.”
