Crivelli Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, 2021.

Lauren says, “Garnet in the glass. Aroma of stone and chocolate covered strawberry (including the leafy bit). Medium bodied. Very unique flavor. It is reminiscent of cherry Coca Cola. Ends with balanced tannins and acidity. A Very odd wine that I like a lot. However, I think this could be a polarizing bottle. There is an unusual sweetness with a dry ending. 8/10.”

Zach says, “Thin cherry red in the glass. Notes of cherry candy, flowers (maybe Gardenia?), and wet stone.  Light to medium bodied. Taste is off sweet almost honey like with a subtle brininess that is unique and cloying.  Smells like the old house red at Bern’s. 7.5/10.”
