Massican Annia White Blend

Massican Annia White Blend, 2021.
Lauren says, “Yellow-gold with a hint of green. Fresh aroma of citrus, green beans and grass. Flavor of melon, peach, and lemon. Very slight yeast/oak. Refreshing and delicious. Complex ending of tart grapefruit lingers- Reminiscent of sour chewy sweet tarts I had as a kid. Medium bodied. A Seriously good white that is lighter than a pure Chardonnay but similar to a Sancerre. 9.5/10. Honestly could be a 10 for me on a hot day.”
Zach says, “Wow! This is the first vibrant and jubilant wine I have consumed in some time. Straw yellow in the glass. The nose is fresh like cold sea air. The way the nose hits is like the sound of seashells crunching beneath your feet. Notes of cotton blossom, fresh cut grass, cotton candy, and lime zest. Medium bodied. Very acidic and fresh on the palate. Long lasting fresh lime finish marries beautifully with the subtle oakiness that shines through from the 16% Chardonnay. 9/10
Purchase instigated by the “by the glass” menu at EMP. Offered there for $25/glass. purchased the bottle from Astor Wine’s online catalog for $34/bottle on sale.”
