Lauren says, “Plum color with a light red rim. Aroma of red fruit, earth, mushroom and dried tea leaves. There is an earthy element that almost smells like an old closet? Tastes high in alcohol. Definitely an ethanol element. Medium to full bodied. Tart flavor of dried cranberries and a hint of dried strawberry. Very tannic and dry. I do enjoy this but it is for sure not a beginner’s wine. I would have hated this a few years ago. 7/10.”
Zach says, “Very expressive nose of potent brambly berry, shoe polish, incense/sandalwood, and moss. Medium bodied. Mildly acidic. Initially desert dry, but really mellowed out with time and became more drinkable. Very long wild berry, vanilla finish. Finish is quite dry. I like it but maybe not my favorite style. 7.5/10.”
