Pax Gamay Noir, 2019.
Lauren says, “A cloudy red-pink in the glass. Aroma of raspberry, pomegranate, and roses. It does kind of smell like smuckers chapstick. Light bodied. High acidity. Flavor of tart freeze dried strawberries. The ending is reminiscent of sour candies. Quite unique and refreshing. I like it a lot for something different. 8/10.”
Zach says, “Cloudy and intense grapefruit color in the glass. Nose initially with fresh rhubarb and sweet florals like lavender — later, with cinnamon and nutmeg. Light mouth feel. Super acidic. Refreshing and agreeable. I enjoy it a lot. Serve around 55 degrees Fahrenheit. 8/10.”
