Metodo Martinotti 7 Brut Note.
Lauren says, “Creamy yellow. Medium sized bubbles that linger. Aroma of honey, almonds, and butter. Quite sweet on the palate with notes of tropical fruit, banana bread, and syrup. Heavy and rich. Ending has the tartness of grapefruit and citrus. Very interesting and unique. Would be great with dessert. Not as sweet as ice wine, so it has more balance. 7.5/10.”
Zach says, “Yellow with a slight green hue in the glass. Nose has elements of red delicious apple, sea air, and something tropical fruit. Off-sweet. Slight sharpness on the finish makes this feel cheap. Mouthfeel is exquisite, however, for the price. In general, a lot of apple going on. Finish is very long, but a little too sweet for my liking. Might be a nice compliment to stir fry dishes. Not bad for the price, but I think the search for the perfect budget sparkling continues. 7/10.”
