Lauren says, “Creamy golden yellow, almost peach. Fine bubbles. Aroma of fresh apples and baking flour. Medium to full bodied. Hint of citrus and yeasty bread. Rich and agreeable. Very creamy! Ending is pretty tart and acidic. Finish is long. Definitely similar to Veuve but I might like it slightly better. Definitely a heavy style. 8.5/10. I could be swayed to a 9.”
Zach says, “Light gold in glass. A great deal of effervescence. Fine bubbles. Very acidic with high minerality. Mousse like on the palate. A lot of tree fruit on the palate. On the nose, notes of green apple, roasted almond, and brioche. Finishes like buttered bread. Better the Veuve similar or slightly lesser than Voirin. This is a celebratory champagne. 8.5-9/10.”
