Domaine Guiberteau Rouge, 2020.

Zach says, “ Color: plum with and light pink rim. There is a traditional “French funk” as lauren calls it. Nose is complex. Some sandalwood, ash, cherry, and olive.  Medium bodied. Medium tannin. Medium acidity. Balanced smooth and unique, finish is brambly and rich. I don’t love it, but I also appreciate the subtle complexity. A lot of blackberry on the long finish. 7.5/10.”

Lauren says, “Ruby red. Aroma of hay, dried herbs, wet laundry, and beef jerky. Light bodied. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Flavor of red cherry and dusty preserved meat. Very unique. Growing on me but quite odd. 7/10.”
