Bucci Verdicchio Classico dei Castelli di Jesi

Bucci Verdicchio Classico dei Castelli di Jesi, 2020.
Lauren says, “Straw yellow. Aroma of green apple, honeydew, and lemon zest. Light body. High acidity. Flavor of citrus and slight peach & orange blossom. Tart ending. Very decent. 7/10.”
Zach says, “Light gold in the glass. Nose is subtle and playful. At times, I get some tropical fruit notes, but at others I get heady, musky spicy perfume with hints of anise. Maybe cucumber skin as well. Overall, note is very challenging. Medium bodied. Full acidity.
Finish is smooth and crisp with a lot of fresh apple. There is some stony minerality here on the finish. Not quite as bright as a Loire Sauvignon blanc, but mouth feel and vibrancy is similar.
I want something more uniform and with greater character
7/10.”
