La Senda 1984 Tinto, 2018.
Zach says, “Plum purple in the glass. Very bright and vibrant nose. Super potent and expressive. Notes of berry, chocolate malted milk ball, and wet earth. Mild to medium tannins felt on the entirety of the hard palate. Medium bodied. Long finish with notes of toasted baking spice, malt or funk, and raspberry — tastes like Spanish moss on the finish. Earthy. Extremely drinkable. 8.5/10.”
Lauren says, “Light garnet with purpley-red rim. Earthy nose- hint of soil, stone, and red cherry. Light body. Medium to high acidity. Low to medium tannins. Fairly balanced but light. Flavor of tart cherries, cocoa, and hint of cherry cola. Easy to drink and something a little different about it. I like it but don’t love it. It did need 15-20 minutes to open up. 7.5/10.”
