Zach says, “ Plum purple with a like pink rim. Took 2-3 hours to open up. Initially this was very very oaky. In time, however, more complex, but still heavy. On the nose, dried rosemary and mint, cedar, and cherry. Full bodied. I feel the medium tannins in my cheeks. I get a lot of black tea on the finish. I like it, but I think it would be best in 8-12 years when the oak would settle. 7/10.”
Lauren says, “Dark ruby red. Aroma of cherry and vanilla. Full body. Smooth. High acidity and high tannins. High alcohol. Needed some time to open up. A good amount of oak and red fruit, some black pepper. I don’t get a lot of nuance. 7/10.”
