Pieropan Calvarino, 2020.
Lauren says, “Golden yellow. Aroma of wet stone, apricot, lemon, and maybe some thing floral. Medium body. Medium acidity. Flavor of white pepper, citrus, and melon. Refreshing with some body. Agreeable. 7.5/10.
Zach says, “Light yellow in the glass. Nose of dried apricot, lemon, and something green and vegetal. I get a little bit of a peppery quality on the palate, maybe pair with an arugula salad. Very crisp and sharp. A little floral and citrus on the finish. Light bodied. More fruity than mineral, but there is a subtle chalkiness at the very end of the long finish. 8/10.”
