Zach says, “Rusty cherry red in the glass. Nose has notes of cherry, sandalwood, chocolate. Medium bodied. Moderate tannin. Mod to high acidity. I am thinking this is a less expensive Italian table wine. There is some length on the finish, but there isn’t a lot of complexity. I like it for a table wine, but there is a subtle sharpness on the finish that I do not love. 7.5/10.”
Lauren says, “Ruby red. Aroma of cherry, vanilla Coca Cola, and cigar smoke. Hint of licorice and herbs. Medium body. High tannin, medium acidity. Flavor of red cherry and blackberry. Needs 30 min-1 hr to open up. I think it really needs this time. Before it hit 30 min, it had a slight metallic aftertaste. Tasted this blind. My guess would be a Rioja? Definitely old world red. Would be a great house red for a large group. 6.5-7/10.”
