Lauren says, “Nice ruby red. Aroma of cherry, vanilla, and dusty/old wine cellar.  Not an extremely pleasant initial scent (maybe too herbaceous) but it dissipates. Very smooth and velvety texture that I love. Lots of vanilla extract and cherry with tang of strong oak. Almost a little chemically (like acetone or just alcohol) right now and I think it needs an hour of decanting. At this moment it’s a 6.5/10 but I remember loving this wine and think it will evolve in the glass.”

Zach says, “Color is ruby. The nose is rather evasive in general, but at times is unpleasant. I am first hit with a heavy, buttery oakiness that I do not enjoy. As I lower my schnoz into the glass, this aroma does not persist. I am then hit with pleasant floral (maybe rose or lavender), red cherry, and earthy notes. Light mouthfeel, moderate acidity, and light tannin. The taste is very fruity and enjoyable, but perhaps a bit to juice-like for me to really enjoy. Overall, I would say that I am not impressed with this wine’s price to quality ratio. I remember Belle Glos to have rich notes of baking spice and a medium-bodied mouthfeel. This does not have either. 7/10”
